Project Name

Toronto Water Laboratory Consolidation Project / Toronto, Ontario

Project details

Henry’s Official Title at AECOM: Senior Project Architect / Primary Author

About the Project: Toronto Water identified a need to consolidate the laboratory testing facilities at 545 Commissioners Street to the existing laboratory at 30 Dee Avenue to improve operational efficiencies and deal with increased workload from various divisions. The report included input primarily from the architectural discipline but also from designers from the structural, mechanical, electrical, and landscape disciplines. The pre-design report also included a conceptual building layout design of the entire facility, all departments and services spaces in a configuration that maximized both efficiency of operations and well-being of the lab’s personnel.
